Importing a Corporate Event from Alpha Flow (with the Timing App)

If you use Alpha Flow for your Karting Centre, importing events into the timing is really easy. The following pages explain how to import an Event with the Alpha Timing application. If you are operating the timing remotely via a web browser there is a separate guide for this.

You should be able to see your event at the top of the screen under “Import Event”. Click on the event tile you’d like to import.

The system will import all of the information that has been recorded in Alpha flow and create your event automatically. However there may be instances where you need to select the appropriate class, track configuration or choose a championship.

You can set and alter these options in the dropdown and then click the Create Event button.

If you don’t have an event to import, then click on the appropriate Event Format you are using from the blue Event Format buttons. 

The Event Format template can set the specific track configuration, classes or whether it is part of a championship automatically. If you need a new template, or the template is not working as intended, please contact the Support Team to schedule a time for the template to be amended. The timing app cannot be in use for this work to be carried out.
