On this screen you can configure the User accounts that have access to your system.
When creating a user it is important to make them unique to your organisation as these log ins are global across the whole Alpha Flow System. We recommend an email address is used as the user name.
There are two types of user. Admins and non-admins. Admins will have access to all features such as Venue Settings, the ability to create/edit vouchers, and marketing campaigns etc, so should be a limited number of staff.
Non-admins only have access to:
- Home screen
- Diary and Bookings
- Daily Overview
- Reception
- Point of Sale
- Customer Database
- Emails (Sent logs)
- Reports (access is configured on each individual report)
If a user forgets their password and is unable to reset it using the forget password link; or you are setting them up as a new user for the first time you can give them a temporary password by filling the Password field here.
Ticking the Must Change Password box will require the user to change their password once they log in.
When you no longer wish for a user to have access to your system you can tick the Deactivated box. This will then prevent the user from logging in.
You can also set a time limit for how long to wait before automatically logging out an inactive user. This can be useful if you share devices at your venue. Simply moving the mouse is not sufficient to reset the timer, they must be actively making transactions or edits in the system to count as active.
You also have to option to Force Logout a logged in user.
Each user's log ins are logged on their account and will include the date/time, location IP address and browser type.
