Logging in and the Home Screen
To log on to the Alpha Club Management System use any web browser. Each club has their own unique link which will be created by Alpha that will be similar to https://xxx.alphatiming.co.uk/ with “xxx” replaced with an abbreviation or shortened version of your club’s name. You should also have been provided with a temporary password which you must change when you log in for the first time.
Administrators can create users which is explained in the Users section guide. If you have forgotten your password, use the link in the bottom right to reset your password or it can be reset by an administrator. Once you log as an administrator you will be able to switch to the Admin Dashboard by clicking the button in the top right of the page.
Depending on your level of permissions you will see a screen like below. At the top in the black stripe from the left you will see the Account name and a drop down of the championships. If you have access to multiple clubs, you can click the Account name to switch between them.
Clicking the Home symbol next to your club’s name will take you to the Home screen.
The screen is divided up into the following sections:
- The Navigation bar which lets you change club (if applicable) and a dropdown with a quick view off all your Championships.
- Shows the current logged in user and the ability to change your password.
- The Manage Menu which covers all the tasks for the typical running of your club.
- The Event Day menu covers everything to do with the on-the-day running of an event.
- The Financial Menu which shows financial reports and a list of invoices
- The Settings Menu which houses all the configuration and settings for your account. This is where you set up your account for the first time and make global changes to your account. This is only visible if the user has admin privileges.
- This shows the Public Links to your club’s account where competitors can enter events and manage their entries or see the Entry list for an event
- This will list the most recent failed messages sent from the account. Clicking the “View all failed messages button” will show all the failed messages.
- This area will show the latest orders made via your account. This can include everything that can be paid for online e.g. Entries, Memberships and Products.
- This lists your Upcoming Events
