This guide shows you how to configure the Timing App to control Pixelcom 4Flags Marshal post lights. You must have the Pixelcom Modem and the lights must be installed at their respective marshal posts.
Before you configure this in the timing, you must ensure you have the Pixelcom Modem installed and configured on the Timing PC and that you know your Pixelcom Track ID and light numbers. Please contact your supplier of Pixelcom lights to obtain this information and instructions on how to to install and configure the modem.
Setup Guide
STEP 1: Once the Pixelcom Modem is installed and configured, go to the Timing App's Display settings.
STEP 2: Under the heading Safety Lights, set the startup mode dropdown to Automatic. If it is set to Manual, make sure to set the slider to Enabled each time you wish to use the lights.
STEP 3: Set the type to Pixel and in the connection box type in port=[COM?];trackId=[TRACK?] replacing [COM?] with the modem's COM port on PC and [TRACK?] with your Pixelcom Track ID i.e. port=COM3;trackId=123
To find the COM Port of the Pixelcom modem, go to your PC's device manager in Window's Settings (right click your Start button and click Device Manager). You can identify which device your modem is by unplugging it from your PC, seeing it disappear from this list, then plugging it back in so it reappears.
STEP 4: Add each of the flags in the lower section.
The Code will be shown on the flag icons in the Timing app and the flag control page, and must be just one digit i.e. 1-9

STEP 5: Go to your track settings, and edit each track in turn, adding the relevant flag points. The SEQ number sets what order the lights as you travel around the circuit, with the lower numbers appearing first. If you don't have any timing sectors, set the sector number to 1 for all the lights.
The lights are now configured in the timing and can be control from the Timing app in the Timing control panel, just above the notifications section.
To control the Safety Lights by a remote device connected to the Timing PC, please see this guide on Connecting to the Timing App remotely.
