Creating a Backup and Installing on a new PC

If you upgrade your computer or change it to a new one you can install the software and transfer the database and its settings from your old computer over to your new computer.

Before this, you will need to create a back up of the Timing Database from the old timing PC and transfer it to the new PC. You must then ensure that you do not use the Timing PC during this process and that the Alpha Timing Application is removed from the old timing PC, and only installed and used on the new timing PC, otherwise the timing database will become out of sync.
