Timing Updates and Notifications

The Timing application will check for any new software releases on starting up if connecting to the internet. The notifications module on the left will show a number and fill with a colour when a new update is available for the Timing Software or eFlag Controller software. 

	Orange update flags are for software updates to the Timing application
	Blue update flags are for software updates to the eFlag controller, if connected.

Click on the notifications module on the left to show the update module. Any updates will be listed on this screen. Click on them to show the information about the update and view any release notes. Click on the Install update button start downloading the update files and start the update process. 

The time it takes to update the software will vary depending on your equipment and internet speed, so it is advisable to make sure you update your Timing PC well in advance of an event and with a stable high speed internet connection.
