The Club Management System has an integration with Twilio that allows you to send messages via SMS. In the Settings Menu, click Account and then select 3rd Party Integrations. In this section there are configurations for 3rd Party apps that work with Alpha.
Twilio
Twilio is a service that enables you to send SMS messages. By connecting Alpha to Twilio you will be able to send SMS messages to anyone in your database, just as you would do when sending emails.
You will need to create an account with Twilio before completing the setup.
To create a Twilio integration click the " + Set up new Twilio integration" button. Before you start you will need to know your:
- Twilio AccountSid
Authorisation Code
Twilio phone number (in E.164 format i.e. starting with + and your country code.
You can also optionally create a Messaging Service name in your Twilio settings. This means that when SMS messages are delivered the sent from is can be replaced with custom text and numbers i.e. the name of their club rather than the Twilio number. Enter your Messaging Service ID into the Alpha Numeric Sender Config to configure this.
